JJ's New Tree

I take my tree watering responsibilities very seriously! I get dressed up in my "daddy boots" and daddy's hat, then it's off to work I go. I prefer to keep the hose in one location for the entire watering because it causes the bark to bubble up and that is fun for me - mommy getting all flustered about it is also fun! Grandpa Fritz helped me plant the tree the day before my birthday. I did most of the work of course :)

JJ Turned Two!

I helped make my cake and enjoyed the "cleaning up" part best! It was fun to celebrate with my friends at the gym - and I loved my train cake - especially the M&Ms that decorated it :)

Water Play

Definitely a "before" and "after" of JJ playing with his new water table. The hose was almost as much fun - spraying mommy, the house, and whatever else was around!

Monster Machines in Motion

Today we went to Monster Machines in Motion - and JJ had a blast exploring large machinery, digging in dirt and sand, riding behind a tractor, riding ON a back hoe, and climbing a huge pile of rocks.

What a great day for a boy that loves to watch the equipment near our house as they work on building new homes!

Stacking the tower

JJ loves his new stacking tower. He's very proud when he gets them all on - no matter the order. He asks what color each piece is, or he guesses himself. He sometimes identifies colors when asked and occasionally names the color himself!

Bed Head

JJ has some crazy bed head in the mornings - he really enjoys looking at himself in the mirror and laughing at himself!
